I’m currently writing an upcoming collection of essays with the working title Welcome to the Zombie Apocalypse: Notes on Collapse from the Covid-19 Pandemic. We are living through an intense period of death and rebirth. It is an age of collapse. We don’t know yet what will emerge from the rubble. These essays examine this period through the lens of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Using popular culture like zombie and comic book movies as well as current events, I try to come to terms with living in unprecedented times.
