My Newsletter is up and Running!
I sent out my first e-mail newsletter yesterday!
Thanks so much to all of you who subscribed (I honestly thought it would have been tumbleweeds). I’m really grateful you’re willing to invite me into your inboxes. If you signed up and didn’t see the e-mail, check your spam/junk folders.
For my newer followers who missed the initial announcement: I started the newsletter to have a way to stay in touch with my readers. I love Medium, but the company has a history of making big product shifts with little notice, and writers have gotten burned. If I have to switch platforms suddenly, I’d like to have a method of contacting my readers, so no one feels left in the lurch.
In my e-mail, I discussed the ongoing propaganda war (that Trump is winning) and mulled over how to discuss it in a future article. I’m still figuring out what works, but the newsletter is the place for more insight into my process (if that interests you) and heads up on what I’m working on.
